It certainly has curb appeal! A red Corvette roadster with white
interior and knock off wheels. The side pipes look great too but
they aren't just for show- they sound awesome as you shift through
those gears. We just purchased from the estate of a collector. He
owned this car since 1989, 32 years.
EXTERIOR: Sharp looking older paint job, it was repainted it's
original color of Riverside red. It is very bright and glossy.
There's no obvious body damage, no significant cracks. Everything
appears to fit very well. It does have minor flaws if you are
looking for them. Overall the chrome trim and bumpers are in good
shape. Very desirable side exhaust and knock off wheels. The
retractable headlights work. The white convertible top is good,
rear window is cloudy.
INTERIOR: The interior has new red carpet, the seats and door
panels have been replaced. The dash area is not beat up but it is
showing some age due to fading. It has all the factory gauges and
radio. The 6,500 redline tachometer tells us this was born a high
horsepower car. It has original shifter with reverse lockout and
chrome ball. It also has seat belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT It has a period correct 327 motor. Starts up and
idles beautifully. Stock components like the Corvette valve covers,
manifolds and ignition shielding. It has a Holley carb and
aftermarket air cleaner. It also has the big pulley on the
alternator for a high horsepower motor. The clutch fan looks new.
All the components do look proper. It has power brakes.
UNDERSIDE: The front end looks like it's been completely rebuilt
recently. The spindles, bushings, shocks, ball joints, tie rods
look fresh. In back the spring, bushings, shocks, control arms look
fresh. Looking up at the motor it is a clean Chevy orange, starter
looks fresh. 4-speed is VIN number match to the car. The frame is
clean and painted semi gloss black. Floors are raw fiberglass, I
don't see any damage. It has the spare tire carrier in the
back.
This vette has a lot of appeal. Great looking older restoration. A
great driver you don't have to spend a fortune to buy.
