This 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 is an in-demand car for being a
first-year fastback. And since it has the look of the sportiest
pony, this one was upgraded to be an even better all-around sports
car with stunning paint, an A/C interior, five-speed stick,
four-wheel disc brakes, and a strong V8 heart.
The fastback is the one we all want when looking for a performance
pony, and this one really plays that part correctly. For example,
it was born a Poppy Red car, but this was upgraded to Ford's
Rangoon Red because it's a shade bolder. You can see there was a
solid investment all-around with a nice shine on the chrome bumpers
and doors that close with ease. There's a nice GT look with the fog
lights. And that's joined by the styled steel wheels and bright
dual exhaust for the kind of sporty look a car like this
deserves.
The black interior has a handsome style. Lovers of vintage Mustangs
will enjoy the classic elements, like the fold-down rear seat and
AM radio that's still there for display. But what you also notice
is how much this one is upgraded to be a good modern driver. You
have upgrades like a cup holder center console and cold-blowing air
conditioning running R134a refrigerant. The steering wheel, gauges,
and low-back bucket seats have a great classic feel, but the
shifter now shows you have an extra great to enjoy it all. And the
auxiliary gauge trio lets you keep an eye on the upgrade under the
hood.
The engine bay has the clean look of a solid investment. And while
the blue block and even Ford hoses give this a very stock style,
this one has been subtly upgraded in all the best ways. For
starters, this is powered by a 302 cubic-inch V8 that was only
available later in the Mustang's life. It inhales deeper with a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a nice authority
out of a newer dual exhaust w/Flowmasters. There are even good
supporting components like an aluminum radiator with an electric
fan. This is a strong-running package, and you get to take full
advantage of it thanks to the upgrade to a Tremec five-speed manual
transmission. Stopping power is also well in-hand with upgraded
four-wheel disc brakes.
Fastbacks are always in-demand, so you know how special it is to
find one that looks this good and already has all the best features
for modern enjoyment. This restored pony car is ready to hit the
road. Call today!!!
