1987 BMW 535i
This 535i was purchased brand new in 1987 and has been driven by every member of their family, as a daily driver until just a few years ago when another couple of Bimmers came into the household and this one was relegated to the back of the driveway. It became a parts car for one of the son's other BMWs.
It definitely has needs but isn't all that far from being on the road. The M30B34 6 cylinder has 173,000 miles and turns over. The interior has had a few parts scavenged but the seats are in good condition and with some softener and dye can be looking very good. The 5 speed manual is in place and 4 good wheels too. Most of the body is in solid shape with rot present in the trunk and along the driver and passenger sill and touching the foot-well. Not extensive, certainly fixable. The doors, hood, trunk lid and fenders are fine, as are the rear quarter panels.
Still wears it's original Cosmos Blau Metallic paint and blue leather interior.
The grill was removed as was the rear differential.
This car could be fixed and driven, converted into a fun track/autocross car or simply used for parts to keep another 535 on the road.
Asking price is $1900 and will be sold with a CT J23 Proof of ownership form, CT Q1 form and CT Bill of Sale.
