1967 Corvette Roadster 327 4spd. / Marlboro Maroon with black top.
In 2019 this car received a Bloomington Gold Survivor Award. I also
have the original Tank Sticker and first owner title to further
document this car. Bloomington Gold & NCRS Judges have determined
that the Engine Stamping, Trim Tag, Engine Block Casting Number are
Factory Original. This Corvette was sold new at Allen Chevrolet of
Forest Park Illinois in November 1966. It's original owner drove
the car until the clutch failed in 1976 with just over 35K miles
showing on the odometer. These are the only miles that have ever
been put on this vehicle. The car remained covered in storage from
1976 until the second owner purchased it in 2018. A subsequent
refurbishment at that time included refreshing the fuel system,
Cleaning & installing new seals and bearings in the Numbers
Matching Engine. The car was then fitted with 15' Firestone Deluxe
Champion Redline Tires for judging and still retains its original
Kelsey Hayes DC Rally Wheels. (all 5 dated Oct. 1966). The Gauges
are all original (and working). The radio plays & the clock works.
On the outside you can see the headlights open and the turn
signals, brake lights & reverse lights are working too. The Maroon
paint is in very nice shape for its age with a few minor
imperfections as seen in the photos. The car starts, runs, drives
and shifts great and is an absolute pleasure to take down the
highway. Don't miss this opportunity to own a Bloomington Gold
Certified Corvette because they are only original once. Please Note
