applied earlier this year. It gives this Chevy a more modern look,

The mean and dark appearance even continues under the hood. Tidy
dark inner walls, black Edelbrock valve covers, a matching air
grabber, and even a black block really give this a dark heart. And
the reason this can all look so clean and tidy is because the motor
was installed less than 300 miles ago. More than just look great,
this one has great power. It's a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. It was
built with a SCAT rotating assembly and a mild cam. This mighty V8
inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock
intake, and it exhales with added power thanks to long tube
headers. There are also nice supporting components, like a
serpentine belt system and an aluminum radiator. The three-speed
automatic transmission was added around the same time as the motor,
and so it shifts smoothly. Power steering, power brakes, front
discs, and modern sport tires complete a great cruising
package.
