Ok, so if you are looking at this, you probably do not need the
fluff about a Porsche 356, However coincidentally it is one of my
favorite automobiles of all time. This car was purchased by the
current owner back in the mid-80's at a used car lot in Florida. At
that time, he did a small self-restoration and attended a few
Porsche D/E events. Then in the 1990's he met Vic Skirmants from
356 Enterprises, an extremely well known 356 engine builder to this
day where they built the motor and transmission. The body was
completed with a no expense spared cosmetic restoration with Darin
Irvine Custom Automotive restorations in 2015. Everything is
new..Everything. It has an all steel body, no rust or bondo
anywhere. Has a Custom fabricated aluminum hood with special
latches, custom aluminum underbody, front ait dam w/ brake ducts
and aluminum interior and dash. For the mechanicals, it has a set
of ported machined 912 heads that sit atop the original 1600 block.
Has Shasta 86 MM Pistons, Aluminum Oil Cooler, 4" Pulley for higher
RPMS...Almost 7500! Has a deep sump oil kit with skit plate. Has a
GPS speedometer and the list goes on and on. We have a very
detailed receipt and package and a full list of parts if there are
more questions that need answered. We welcome any inquiries and
questions on this. If you are in need of more pictures also let us
know. This car has absolutely nothing to hide. It is registered and
insured for road driving, has a clear MI title with matching
correct VIN tag, all lights work as they should, tires have no
miles on them. It is hard to tell if this car is a show car or a
race car, but we will let you decide. You couldn't come close to
purchasing a good example 356 and bringing it to this standard for
what we are asking.
