The Whippet was a Willys-Overland product manufactured between 1927 and 1931. The early models used a four-cylinder engine but could later be equipped with a six cylinder engine. Being a small light weight car with the six-cylinder engine this car became not only cheapest six cylinder but also the fastest. By the second year of production, it had become the third largest seller of cars.
