Vehicle Description
1977 Toyota Pickup RN20 This longbed SR5 Toyota is a gem and has
been a Sacramento area truck her whole life. Her body has been
tastefully enhanced by nature, she starts up first time, every
time, and is a total blast to drive! The 20R four-cylinder is fast
by no means but with the 5-speed, it will get you going 60-65 on
the freeway no sweat. The engine runs strong, she shifts clean, and
stops great! I have been daily driving this truck for the past 6
months. I hate to see her go, but I need to make room for other
projects. I have replaced all fluids to include motor oil/filter,
anti-freeze, transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, and a
brake fluid to include the clutch master cylinder. New rotors,
pads, hardware, and bearings up front. New shoes, wheel cylinders,
and hardware in the rear. New clutch master cylinder. All four
shocks have been replaced as well as the tie rods, pitman arm and
idler arm. Tires are good and she has a new battery. Four new spark
plugs and great compression across the board (see pics). I wouldn't
hesitate to take this beauty to the coast or up to Tahoe. The
interior is what you'd expect out of a 44-year-old budget truck but
it has a clean headliner, both door panels, both sun visors, new
dash pad cover, and new front and rear window seals. There is no
radio and the dash has been cut somewhere along the line but all of
the dash lights work. The cloth bench seat has some rips but is
still surprisingly comfortable. As for the exterior, the truck has
a great patina. Frame is bone dry. Throw her on some coilovers and
run it as a sweet mini truck or give her a new lease on life with a
fresh paint job. The truck passed smog with flying colors and is
registered until August 2021. I also replaced the gaskets on the
catalytic converter. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location
