of this mostly all original 1954 Cadillac Coupe De Ville 2 door
Hardtop in it's very striking original 'Newport Blue' (Code 2)
factory color paint with a Dark Blue contrasting Hardtop and with a
remarkably well preserved and all original and unrestored 'Light
Blue amp; Crest Cloth amp; Dark Blue Leather' (trim code 63) nylon
and leather interior with original seats, door panels and headliner
and with factory specifications and options including power
steering, power brakes, power windows, heater and defroster, 6 way
power seats, fog lamps, original radio, autronic eye, back-up
lights and it's original 331/230HP V8 engine!This is a truly superb
all original apart from one repaint in it's original factory color
of 'Newport Blue' survivor example of a 1954 Cadillac Series 62
Coupe de Ville from a very fastidious and exacting long time
owner's (over 30 years) collection! The car reportedly has some 75K
original miles amp; a rebuilt engine amp; transmission. Options
include; Power windows, Power seat, fog lamps, rear center armrest,
rocker panel moldings, rear fender skirts and the car has great
chrome, all the stainless is highly polished, the trunk has been
relined correctly with original material, and it has Coupe de Ville
headliner bows. The car also boasts all original carpet in
remarkably great condition throughout testifying to its careful and
meticulously kept ownership history through the years. The car was
repainted it's original striking 'Newport Blue' factory color paint
on an obviously already extraordinarily straight body. It has no
signs of ever been involved in any accidents and it has absolutely
no rust. Obviously meticulously maintained, engine purrs and drives
incredibly well, transmission shifts very smoothly, it would be
hard, probably impossible to find a finer or more correct mostly
all original example anywhere else!The 1954 Cadillac Coupe De Ville
was priced only slightly less than the Series 62 convertible of the
same year and was one of the highest priced cars of its day - and
with good reason - fifties excess had virtually reached its peak
with Cadillac boasting bigger cars with more chrome and larger fins
than ever before! These cars bristled with the latest in modern
appointments and had few rivals in the luxury market with a
recession making owning one only for the very privileged elite.This
particular example has obviously always been garaged and well
maintained. The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone
areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs
of any accidents anywhere - obviously an always cherished 'Garage
Queen' since new! The car has probably one of the most striking all
original interiors from the early 1950's that we have ever seen
with it's beautiful matching Nylon amp; Leather Crest interior in
exceptional and correct original specification condition
throughout. All the chrome is also in absolutely exceptional
condition.The 331/230HP V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful
and sounds absolutely magnificent and this particular car drives
absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - does not
miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - a truly remarkable daily
driver that will give any modern day car a run for it's money! The
transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the car has four
good tires and its original factory hubcaps.This is a rare
