Vehicle Description
From 1954 through 1958 Buick reintroduced the Century using the
same formula as the earlier versions, mating the smaller, lighter
body to its largest and most powerful V8 which was the 322
Nailhead. The idea was making a performance vehicle for the GM
lineup. It was a hit with the California Highway Patrol which
placed a large fleet order for two-door sedans, a body style that
was unavailable to the public in 1955.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this handsome 1954 Buick
Century convertible for your consideration. The current owner has
owned the car for the 11 years. The Century spent a bit of its life
in Florida previously and Georgia as well. The car underwent a
frame up restoration. The engine was rebuilt in 2012(only 3,000
miles ago) and it was repainted 2 years ago. The Condor Yellow
exterior shows well with a black power convertible top over a black
and yellow leather interior. It is powered by its 322 Fireball V8
paired with an automatic transmission. The chrome polishes to a
shine and accents the car well. Other features include wide
whitewall tires, rear mounted spare(continental kit) dash clock,
dual spotlights, fender skits. This is an excellent cruiser and is
a real head turner.
