Vehicle Description
This 1955 Chevrolet Cameo big-window Resto-Mod pickup is called
"Stinger" to match its vibrant colors of yellow and black. The
restoration was finished in 2020 and the truck has been driven 800
miles since. It's powered by a 454ci Sniper fuel-injected V8
engine, paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission. Fitted under
the hood are stainless headers and a Griffin radiator with electric
fans. Looking underneath the truck you will find a Kugel front-end
suspension, RideTech 4-bar with coilover rear shock suspension,
Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 gears, a new rear-mounted stainless
gas tank, aluminum exhaust with 50-series Flowmasters with
resonators and Wilwood disc brakes. "Stinger" rides on new 18-inch
U.S. wheels with Nitto tires. A brand-new custom interior features
a Dakota Digital dash, power steering, leather bench seat with
built-in armrest, new door panels, tilt column with a custom
steering wheel, ceiling treatment and new carpet. Air conditioning
along with a new stereo with electric antenna were added for
driving enjoyment. Other features include a stainless-steel bed
with beautiful wood inserts and a new wiper motor. All the lights
work properly, including taillights, blinkers, license plate and
high beams, and the windows, exterior chrome and stainless steel
are in excellent condition.
