The 1965 Shelby Cobra is a quality Factory Five replica. And while
that already makes it worth the price all on its own, this one also
gives you terrific features, like a fuel-injected V8, five speed,
and a slick paint that's part of a detailed color-matched
style.
Factory Five is known for producing quality Cobras, and this
example only has about 5k miles on it since completion. So it shows
far less signs of use than many others out there. The Black Cherry
paint is a terrific color that has the deep tone you want in an
intimidating roadster, and at the same time, this one also has an
extra pop of color in the sunlight that makes it so memorable. It's
so appealing that you'll even spot the color used for details in
other places, like the custom-painted Halibrand-style racing
wheels. The dark color also allows for the brightwork to stand out
further on places like the roll hoop, headlight bezels, gas cap,
and wheel trim. But of course, your favorite contrasting piece will
be the full racing stripe package - the white even is done with a
pearlescent glow for added flair. And as a true competition-ready
Cobra, it has all your favorite track-style pieces, like the quick
jack bumpers, full racing tonneau, and side stripes.
The interior continues the race-ready attitude. You get leather
bucket seats with full Simpson racing harnesses, side wind wing
deflectors, and nice stainless inserts in the doors that match the
trunk. The classic-style wood-rimmed steering wheel and forward
tilted gearstick give you a great classic Cobra feeling. And the
dash is dominated by a full set of AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite
gauges.
The engine bay has a clean style that reminds you of the low
mileage on this build. And you'll even notice the exterior deep red
returning on the intake and Cobra valve covers. More than just look
cool, this has the substance of Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. In
inhales with added power and consistency with BBK fuel injection
system. It exhales with added power and authority as headers feed
those awesome side pipes. This V8 does a great job of moving the
lightweight fiberglass body, and you can stay in the powerband with
ease thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. Plus, features
like a strong tubular frame, coilovers, front disc brakes, and wide
BF Goodrich tires make for a proper sports car feeling.
Complete with build receipts, this is a sharp-looking Factory Five
Cobra. And so you know how rare it is to find this level of quality
priced so well. Call today!!!
