Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Porsche 911 T
non-sunroof coupe. This 911 was a successful vintage racer for many
years, but it was never abused or damaged. The current enthusiast
owner has transformed it into a period-correct hotrod with a built
3.2 mated to a five-speed type 915 gearbox. Body is solid and
straight with a rally-inspired paint scheme - the rare original
color of golden green (showing some patina) is the base. Fenders
and rear decklid are Porsche Nato Green. Front and rear bumpers are
Porsche Continental Orange similar to the 1973 911 RSR Martini
cars. Wheels are custom made with deep sixes in the front and
sevens in the rear. Seats are vintage Recaros with the sought-after
Recaro Spectrum fabric. Nice Momo Prototipo wheel, Wevo shifter.
All gauges, lights, etc. are functional and the car has working
ventilation and heat.
Power comes from a 3.2 Carrera engine running Motronic built by an
Atlanta-area Porsche specialist approximately 3,000 miles ago.
Transmission is the rare 7:31 ring and pinion 1973 915 five-speed -
a perfect complement to this engine. Custom stainless MK muffler
provides a throaty exhaust note. Aluminum S front brakes. Runs and
drives great and is considerably faster than a stock 911.
This is a purpose-built 911 hotrod perfect for weekend runs to the
mountains and fully eligible for most vintage rallies. The current
owner recently completed two 1,000 miles rallies - the Targa
Carolina and Gator Crawl down in Florida, and the car performed
flawlessly. No smog problems for California buyers as the chassis,
title, etc. is earlier than 1975. This 911 is a great candidate for
the enthusiast who wants a fast, fun and truly unique Porsche like
no other. For more information about this 1969 Porsche 911 hot rod
