Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Beautifully maintained, unmolested 1995 Impala SS!!
Dark Green Grey Metallic paint, nice leather interior, great
condition for 144,000 miles!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, and is in
surprisingly good condition for the age and mileage of this car. It
is truly exactly what you'd expect a low-mileage, 25 year old car
to look like! Imperfections are there, but at a minimum. The
underside is very clean, however this two-owner car was owned and
driven in the North until last year, so there are some minor signs
of the beginning stages of rust underneath.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Just like the body and underside, the
paint is in great shape for the age and mileage, showing very well
in all types of lighting despite normal minor scratches and chips
that are to be expected for a well used car of this age. The green
metallic is a great color choice on these cars, and the rarest of
the three colors available.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Just like the exterior, the interior
is in well-maintained, used condition showing minor normal signs of
wear and age. The gray leather is supple, smooth, comfortable, and
free of any rips or tears save for one notable area of damage
pictured on the passenger seat. The interior plastics (door panels,
knobs, etc.) are also in good condition, but again, these items are
beginning to show some signs of age as shown in the photos.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 5.7L LT-1 V8 runs nice and smooth. It
jumps right into a smooth idle, and the factory dual exhaust sounds
just right! It is not too loud, but just enough rumble to remind
you that this is no ordinary Caprice. The transmission shifts
smoothly and the steering is comfortable, plus it handles
surprisingly well for a car this size. This Impala is nothing less
than a pleasure to drive! Even with 144,000 miles clocked over the
last 26 years, this Impala runs, drives, and handles very well and
will not disappoint.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The uniqueness of the model, and
then on top of that the unique color-less than 25% of these cars
were painted this color for 1995.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car is in great shape, but
years of use up North did take a small toll. If you're looking for
an absolutely pristine show car, this is not it.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The only item not operating correctly is the
digital speedometer. It turns on and displays a speed, but it is
off by 15-20MPH at any given time.
