to Sea Blue a long time ago, but instead, it now has the perfect

story we were told on this one. It was stored in a garage for 20+
years before being resurrected in 2018. There was a mechanical
restoration to make this one a more comfortable driver, and that
nature is reflected in the lowered stance and upgraded tires. But
they left the overall classic style of the big headlight cars that
just makes this such an endearing classic.
The interior strikes the right balance of vintage and new.
Fundamentals like the door panels, headliner, and carpeting have a

seating has been completely redone to even provide better
bolstering. There are also well-integrated upgrades like LED
interior lighting and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner

Bunnies. It includes an engine rebuild to make this a 1776cc unit.

feels nippy in the lightweight Bug. You get to take control over
all of this thanks to a Freeway Flyer four-speed transmission,
which as the name suggests, is geared to better handle modern
highways and freeways. The servicing also included beams, torsion
springs, steering damper, and bushings to keep this one feeling
confident on the road. Those cool blue wheels draw attention to the
wider stance and modern tires, and you even have a front disc brake
upgrade. So this is the kind of total package that loves to
run.
