For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Pro Street has a show-worthy style of a full custom build. But it also is never bashful about hiding its speedy intentions. With an upgraded sports suspension, tubbed rear wheels, roll cage interior, and a fully-built stroker V8, this one is likely to keep you out front both on the blacktop and at the car show.

There are two distinct personalities here. The first one is a classic Chevy that was restored with a bright Burgundy Red Metallic. So the sunlight loves to let this one radiate and show off the crisp style of the hardtop. And the bright chrome bumpers and full trim all have a great vintage brilliance. But the other personality is a true dark side of intimidation. The tall cowl hood and large side exhaust tips are some instant indicators of added power. Plus, the Centerline forged racing wheels with extra deep rear rubber give this the kind of pro street aggressive stance. And while the exterior has a split personality, it all comes together when you think about the awesome total package that will make you proud to show everywhere from the dragstrip to cars & coffee.

The clean black interior shows off more of that careful setup of both style and substance. You see it come together best on the full custom roll bar that's smooth and painted to match the exterior. There's also a good burgundy on the door tops and lower dash. The red also makes its way to details like the stitching on the steering wheel and Nova stitching on the floor mats. But within this style is speedy substance. Racing bucket seats, a B&M floor shifter, and a Grant sports steering wheel are all there to get you prepared to watch those AutoMeter gauges do their high-octane dance.

Your first impression of the engine bay may just be of an award-worthy presentation. The inner walls are smooth from careful coats of paint, and there's a nice polish everywhere from the shock towers to the cast valve covers. But pretty can also be powerful. This 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 gives you big block capacity in a small block weight. It's built with all the best go-fast goodies, like AFR aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Hooker Super competition headers. It's supported with the right pieces, like an MSD ignition, steel braided lines, AN fittings, an aluminum radiator, electric fans, and the fuel cell and Optima battery are in the trunk for better weight distribution. It's a professionally built setup, and they even dyno tuned it to be its best (dyno shows over 500 HP). So you'll love firing this one up for some fun, and electric cutouts on the dual exhaust really let you bring the thunder on-demand. The TH400 three-speed transmission has a manual valve body to give you full control. And as you look underneath, you can see that control is a central theme to this build. The front end is upgraded with tubular A-arms, newer bushings, and drilled & slotted front disc brakes. The rear is reinforced with ladder bars to keep those wide Mickey Thompson tires in touch with the pavement.

The sale comes complete with build receipts, restoration photos, and the dyno sheet. This is the one car that will run the quarter miles on Saturday night, and then grab all the attention at the Sunday show. So if you want it all, call today!
