Vehicle Description
The 1969 Pontiac Firebird has that terrific front end that looks
absolutely aggressive, and it only gets better on a super-sleek
restomod. Plus, with the upgraded A/C interior, sports suspension,
overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and big Butler
performance V8, this is a total package of both style and
muscle.
This car is going to get a nickname like Quicksilver or the Silver
Bullet. That's because you're looking at a sleek and awesome build
with barely 700 miles on it since completion. So you not only have
fresh paint, but also a super-straight body showing it all off.
This has all the best classic Firebird elements, including the dual
hood scoops, a Trans Am rear spoiler, and a beak-like chrome front
end that lets this Firebird look like it's spreading its wings.
Plus, the crystal clear headlights, tinted windows, and American
Racing Torq Thrust wheels with an aggressive 17/18 inch front/rear
stance hint at the upgraded machine within.
The black interior looks great against the silver exterior, and the
condition is just as fresh. Good upholstery, clean door panels,
plush carpeting, and a smooth dash are all part of this inviting
package. Plus, there's cold-blowing air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD
stereo w/aux input, and a full subwoofer speaker system to give
this modern comfort. But this build is really all about
performance. You know that when your right hand grabs the B&M
shifter, and your left one feels the grip of the sports steering
wheel w/power steering. And a full AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauge
package, you know there's something quite special under the
hood.
The engine bay looks terrific with all the polished components
radiating from within the slick dark inner walls. Those who know
Pontiacs also know that Butler Performance is the one really
keeping the power torch lit. So it's great to see their 474
cubic-inch V8 under the hood. This is built with the right go-fast
goodies like Edelbrock heads, an Edelbrock intake, fabricated
Butler valve covers, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. It's
supported by the right components, including an aluminum radiator
w/electric fan, serpentine belt system, and the battery mounted in
the trunk for better weight distribution. And this mighty motor
exhales from a set of Doug's long tube headers to add even more
power while contributing to the thunder of the Flowmaster dual
exhaust. Power is nothing without control, and so as you look
underneath, you'll notice front adjustable coilovers, rear traction
bars, subframe connectors, Toyo performance tires, and Hotchkis
sway bars front and rear. There's even four-wheel power disc brakes
with drilled & slotted rotors. And the 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission is a stout unit that also provides overdrive comfort
for great all-around driving.
This is the sleek build that's done with both power and comfort in
mind. It makes for a terrific restomod that you just know belongs
in your garage. Call today!!!
