Vehicle Description
This 1940 Ford Super Deluxe has a triple-deuce V8 and a cool street
machine style. But this is not just a hot rod. The leather-lined
A/C interior, overdrive transmission, upgraded suspension, and
other additions are all there to make this a solid all-around
cruiser.
The '40 Fords make great custom machines. There is a sporty
teardrop shape to the headlight bezels, and a two-door sedan like
this has a sleek teardrop profile, too. So it makes for a great
foundation for a full custom build. This has terrific details, like
clear headlights w/led indicators, bright chrome bumpers, polished
American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, and a lowered stance. It's
finished off in a dark blue that has a timeless appeal. A good
professional detail will get it to a car show ready look, but it
already has the right kind of look now. There's a good shine to
show off all the sheetmetal curves, but it's in a driver-quality
package. And as you dig deeper into this custom, you'll see it
really was made to hit the road.
Once you open the door, it's hard to believe this car is from 1940.
The tan leather bucket seats are true modern pieces with nice
bolstering for all-day comfort. They have a wide headrest and
integrated shoulder belts. Yours even power adjusts to the ideal
driving position. The tan leather coordinates with the rear seats,
custom door panels, painted dash, and fully finished trunk for a
great uniform look. There are some nice comfort upgrades like an
AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth, power windows, and cold-blowing air
conditioning. And your gauges are now a full Dakota Digital
upgrade. But they did leave the stock dual spoke steering wheel in
place just so that you can feel that this is still a true vintage
machine.
The engine bay is filled with V8 power. While the 350 cubic-inch
motor is a nice upgrade, what people will really want to know more
about is the triple set of dual-barrel Holley carburetors on top.
It gives this classic Ford an iconic triple-deuce setup. And not
only does this motor inhale deeper, but it also exhales with added
power and authority as Sanderson Headers feed the rumbling
Flowmaster dual exhaust. The full package is far more thoughtful
than just a pure hot rod experience, and you'll see that with
extras like the serpentine belt system and Walker radiator. The
700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit feeding the
strong Ford 9-inch rear, and it's also a nice upgrade for
highway-friendly overdrive. When you look underneath, you'll spot a
TCI frame and an upgraded suspension with tubular A-arms up front,
a four-link rear, and adjustable coilovers at all corners. Add in
power steering, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and four wheel power disc
brakes, and soon you realize this is a great classic to enjoy near
or far.
This is an all-around upgraded build of an iconic Ford. But you're
not the only one who wants this kind of distinction, so hurry up
and call today!
