Vehicle Description
This factory 1966 Chevy II Nova SS L79 was the beneficiary of a
professional frame-off, no-expense-spared restoration finished in
its original color combination of Chateau Slate exterior over a
black interior, with 300 miles since completion. The restoration
even included re-creating the factory markings in various places on
the car. This 76,000-mile car (the title reads mileage exempt)
spent most of its life in northern California and was in rust-free
condition before the restoration began. The floor pans, trunk pan
and all sheet metal are original to the car. This SS is powered by
its original matching-numbers L79 327ci V8 engine producing 350hp,
which was rebuilt as part of the restoration. The engine is backed
by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission (also rebuilt) and a
12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gear ratio. The engine
breathes through a dual stainless-steel exhaust system. The car
features tinted glass, bucket seats, a center console and factory
radio. This L79 Nova SS sits on a set of Rally wheels wrapped in
Hankook tires. The car also comes with the original set of steel
wheels and factory SS hubcaps. NCRS Shipping Data Report included.
This car is equipped with a non-OEM trim tag.
