A sharp metallic color, lifted suspension, and proper V8 power join
the go-anywhere prowess you love to deliver a 1974 Jeep CJ5 that
celebrates the core of this 4x4's everlasting appeal.
The silver paint on this CJ was upgraded later in life to give it a
nice hint of metallic and a sharp clearcoat finish. It really has a
nice pop in the sunshine, and after all, that's where Jeeps love to
be. So it will get you respect rolling through town, but they also
made sure it wasn't so perfect that you'd shy away from using this
CJ for off-road use. In fact, some of the best beefy features are
done in a robust black that looks good against the silver. This
includes the steel bumpers, large front two hooks, and
Renegade-style fender flares.
Because a proper Jeep loves to be out in the elements, the
coordinating black continues inside. You see it with the proper
roll bar, painted floor, and durable Bestop seating with seatbelts
for both rows. There's even a black bikini top for when you want to
keep the sunshine off your shoulders. The dash has the classic
clean/simple appearance, but there's also added function and style.
That comes items like the addition of Sunpro auxiliary gauges set
in a wood-like finish. There are more great upgrades like a lockbox
center console, AM/FM/CD stereo mounted within it, upgraded stereo
speakers, and rugged floor mats. And the steering wheel has been
upgraded to a grippy Grant unit that really lets you take
command.
Under the hood is Jeep's 304 cubic-inch V8. It has a stock look and
the fundamentals have been treated right with newer belts, wires,
and hoses. So it fires up nicely, and runs well. The V8 delivers
the kind of torque that you really want in a proper 4x4, and the
three-speed manual transmission gives you proper control. Plus, the
lifted suspension with upgraded Rancho shocks make for a terrific
go-anywhere machine. There's even power steering and front disc
brakes to make this an easy going total package.
Lifted, powerful, and quite attractive, this is the classic CJ that
knows how to take you everywhere and also look good anywhere. Call
