Vehicle Description
This 1956 Volkswagen Microbus was completely original prior to
being restored down to the German nuts and bolts and is powered by
a 1100cc 4-cylinder engine producing 36hp mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission. The bus has a German mohair headliner identical to
what came on it originally. The seats have been redone in light
brown vinyl with original correct stitching. All latches, handles,
ashtrays and luggage rails have been restored. The color scheme of
this bus is Chestnut Brown on top and Sealing Wax Red on bottom.
The paint and bodywork are some of the most notable details. This
bus was restored to factory specs with the original split-case
transmission. All parts on the engine have been assembled and
detailed and are correct and restored. The entire undercarriage of
this bus is as detailed as the top.
