This is a Factory Five Cobra roadster assembled in 2007. Only 7,500
since built. Factory Five is one of the industry leaders in
remanufactured Cobras. Very exciting car, one test drive and you
will know what I mean!
EXTERIOR: Show quality fit and finishes. The body is absolutely
straight and fits real nice. The doors click shut. Painted a
gorgeous PPG Silver Jade Pearl metallic. The metal flake is laid
out evenly and the clear coat is polished like wet glass. Actual
Shelby brand aluminum wheels with spinners. The chrome is all
pristine on this car. Other features include chrome quick jack
bumpers, wing windows, chrome roll bar, a bullet mirror and a
polished aluminum pop up gas cap. The side pipes are Jet Hot
ceramic coated and they ROAR!
INTERIOR: It looks very similar to the original. The bucket seats
have shoulder and lap Simpson racing harnesses. It has original
style shifter on the floor. The dash is clean with matching black
face gauges and toggle switches. It has a Shelby style aluminum
spoke, wood rim wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Reliable 5.0 H.O. motor with fuel injection and
headers. The motor comes with it's modern components- serpentine
belt system, alternator, ignition etc. Dressed up with finned Cobra
valve covers. A big radiator and giant electric fan keeps it cool.
Every thing looks proper and functional, it could you some more
dressing up to bring it to the next level.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is carpeted, has remote battery terminals and
a disconnect switch.
UNDERSIDE: A powder coated frame with 4 inch round rails like the
original supports the performance chassis. Upfront it has rack &
pinion steering, independent suspension with tubular control arms,
adjustable uppers and coil over shocks. In back it has coil spring
suspension with a quad shock system. Looking up at the motor it has
a remote oil filter and painted oil pan. The trans is a T5 5-speed.
In back is a 8.8 Ford with 3.55 posi gears and chrome cover. Disc
brakes in front, it has an e-brake system. Floors are aluminum.
This is a good looking Cobra. The wheels are hot, color is gorgeous
and the quality is high. That's all fine and good, driving it is
where you will get more then your money's worth!
