Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Classic rumble seat 1931 Ford Model A coupe! This
iconic Model A is one that escaped being hot-rodded or chopped up!
If you're looking to get into an affordable pre-war classic car
that retains an original feel, this just might be the car for
you!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Model A appears to be in good
condition, and while it shows minor signs of wear and use due to
being an older restoration, this fine automobile is ready to be
enjoyed. Even the cloth faux convertible top is in good shape!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: This car has been restored at some point
in the past. Given the age of the car, it is no surprise that it
needed freshening up! The paint still shines, and the unique but
subtle color really helps this Model A stick out in a crowd. The
green/black combo looks stunning, and serves as a reminder of how
these cars looked before they got turned into street rods.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The brown cloth and vinyl interior is
a great match to the exterior color, and really follows through on
the original-style look. The interior is in nice, well-kept
condition. Even the rumble seat material is in great shape! While
it does show some signs of use, it is clear this car has been
well-kept since the restoration. Additionally, the rear window can
be folded in to communicate with your rumble seat passengers!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The Model A-correct engine purrs like a
kitten, and the sound of this car revving up in gear is sure to
take you right back in time. This car appears to be dialed in well,
and being behind the wheel is a reminder of a simpler time-even if
you weren't there for it. The shifter feels nice, the steering is
tight, and this thing is ready to cruise!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Those familiar with pre-war cars,
especially Model As and Ts, know it can be a challenge to title
these cars properly. Fortunately, this Model A has a clean North
Carolina title and a North Carolina state-issued VIN-so it's good
to go in all 50 states!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car is an older
restoration that still needs some tweaks to be perfect. If you're
looking for a car that needs absolutely nothing, this is not
it.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Overall, this car is working as expected,
however it does have a slight lean to the driver's side and the
speedometer does not appear to be operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is perfect for someone
wanting to own a Model A that they can drive and enjoy all the
while improving it's condition. If you're looking to get into a
pre-war classic without breaking the bank, this Model A could be a
great option!
