This 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser KZJ73 is a left-hand drive example sold new in France and recently imported by Car Cave. A 3.0L Diesel turbo diesel powers this truck and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The smooth running ultra reliable Toyota 1KZ-TE is a 3.0L (2,982 cc) Single Overhead Cam indirect injection turbo diesel. Front hubs and 4-wheel high-range is push button controlled with a floor shifted transfer case for low-range situations. This VX model is finished in white over beige lower panels and graphics, a white removable FRP top, and grey cloth interior featuring the original multi-color patterned seats. Equipment includes air conditioning, power locks, power mirrors, suspension front seats, power steering, running boards, rear heat and air, manual idle speed, rear barn doors, rear wiper, and rear defrost. The factory Toyota altimeter inclinometer tilt gauge are still present on the dash above the JVC KS-RT404 Tape Player. Goodyear Wrangle AT/SA 265/75R15 tires provide a smooth ride down the highway and wrap around 6 spoke black steel wheels. A full size spare is mounted on the rear of the vehicle.The top is removeable and a factory integrated roll cage is found underneath. Several suppliers do sell a soft top to make this a unique and universal vehicle. In addition the windshield has foldable hinges if you want a full throwback overlanding experience. We purchased this Land Cruiser from the proprietor of a vineyard located in the Brouilly Region of France. The vintner purchased it new on January 1, 1996 and stayed in his possesion until we acquired it. A true one owner fully documented vehicle in impeccable condition. Previous ownership provided us every receipt from the first oil change until current. A large history file containing over 60 pages of records for the buyer's review.
