The new mid-engine Chevy Corvette is as good as you could have imagined. The C8 Corvette now boasts an engine behind the passenger cabin, just like the best from Porsche, Ferrari, and McLaren, but at a much more attractive price tag. The Chevy has a 6.2-liter V8 making 490 horsepower that equips it with supercar performance and the sole transmission offered is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
This example is a Stingray Coupe finished in Sebring Orange. It has the 3LT Premium Package and Z51 Performance Package adding many goodies to the build. The Natural finished interior is lined in materials such as leather, metal, and imitation suede with a stitched headliner. Speaking of the roof, it’s removable, just like those of previous Corvettes, and it fits inside the car’s trunk just behind the engine compartment. There is also a front trunk while the rear may be filled with the roof panel you can still stow luggage or cargo. The squared-off steering wheel is complemented with a 12 in gauge display and a large infotainment touchscreen is angled toward the driver. Overall, the new Vette’s cabin is quite well done. LUXE Automotive stepped up the C8’s build by adding some customization details and protection options. They installed XPEL paint protection film over the entire exterior finish with custom styled gloss black paint protection film on the roof and rear license plate inset. Vossen Hf-3 Wheels were fitted in 20/21 with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The original factory wheels are included with the vehicle. They also color-matched the calipers to the Sebring Orange exterior to add a pop of color through the black wheels. Modesta coatings and window tint were also installed. The 8th-gen Corvette has lived up to the hype and this one stands out with the attention to detail put into the build. The C8 is capable of heroic handling and delivers big thrills on both road and track. Don’t miss out on such a well-optioned beast!
