Vehicle Description
2000 Chevrolet SS Camaro SLP
Why This Car Is Special
The fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced by Chevrolet
for the 1993 through 2002 model years. It was introduced on an
updated F-body platform and would retain the same characteristic
since the first-generation's introduction back in 1967, 2-doors,
2+2 seating, available as a coupe or convertible, rear-wheel drive,
and a choice of pushrod V6 and V8 powerplants.
We have a 2000 Chevrolet SS SLP Camaro (SLP Registry #8369) here at
Skyway Classics with the super hot color combo of red paint, black
interior, and black moon roof. It also has a much modified
drivetrain and has a great sounding engine with the horsepower to
back it up too.
Mechanical
Under the hood is the legendary LS6 V8 engine with LS7 upper end
that delivers way more than the stock 320 factory rated horsepower
in the 2000 Camaro SS according to online literature.
The SS we have has been modified with a different intake, tubular
exhaust headers with 4" exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers, cam, fuel
injectors, all aluminum water pump, and much more over and it even
runs on 93 octane pump gas.
It has a 12-bolt 4:30 Posi traction differential, cold air hood and
the 6-Speed Manual Transmission with OD and Hurst short throw
shifter, line-lock, coil over adjustable shocks, and rides on 17"
Corvette ZR1 chromed aluminum wheels and front BF Goodrich G-Foerce
TA 275-40-17 performance tires with rear Mickey Thompson Street
Comp 315-35-17s, a slightly revised suspension for improved
handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear
wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster
acceleration.
Interior
The Black leather interior has front bucket seats, leather wrapped
steering wheel, full power options like driver seat power adjuster,
air bags for driver and passenger, remote power Entry Lock Control,
side door electric lock control, power windows, rear window
defogger, remote mirrors, cruise control, alarm system, power
steering and power front and rear disc brakes, air Conditioning,
and an AM/ FM Radio Stereo system.
Exterior
Our SS SLP is painted a great color of red and has great body lines
and fitment. It also has a cold air hood, rear spoiler, T-tops, and
a custom front grill with a license plate delete and a SS emblem in
the center
It was signed by the SLP Team at the SLP Nationals and is a very
fast and good looking Camaro.
Conclusion
Camaros from this era are well remembered for their distinct
American muscle setup with low-slung looks and V8 performance.
This 2000 Camaro SS SLP we are selling at Skyway Classics has been
cared for extremely well by the current owner and still presents
itself brilliantly in Bright Red.
In addition, our SS has been very well maintained and modified with
so much more horsepower than a stock one.
