Buggie is so cool that it was featured in ?The Dune Buggy Handbook?
which is the bible of dune buggies! It?s absolutely beautiful and
very rare 1969 Berry Mini T dune buggy that has been completely
restored from front to back. It is a true show piece that won 1st
place in its class three years in a row at the VW Jamboree. It has
a full photo documentation of the very high quality restoration.
There are very few Dune Buggy's restored to this quality and
craftsmanship. This is one of the most fun little cars to drive and
it handles like it is on rails. These were built from 1969 to 1971
by Berry Plasti-Glass Works in Pismo Beach, CA. It was inspired by
Henry Ford's, ?Tin Lizzy?. It was a dune buggy that appealed not
only to buggistas, but also hot rodders and classic car
enthusiasts. It is also told the George Barris helped design this
little dune buggy. He built a very similar buggy called the Barris
?T? built from 1969 to 1971. Fully restored in 2018, this little
buggy has had a full restoration and is built on a VW chassis. This
buggy has a beautiful and striking yellow paint job that looks
awesome. It has a new windshield frame and glass. The contrasting
black pinstriping came from famous pinstriper, Ron Hernandez, of
Arizona. It is a high-quality paint finish with no flaws save for a
few small rock chips on the rear fenders that are touched up and
some blemishes on the fuel cap. The body is super straight. This
buggy rolls on a set of new Yakima GTS radials, size 195/50R15 in
front and 235/60R15 in back. Each tire is mounted on a new,
body-colored starfish alloy wheel with a chrome beauty ring and
center cap. The wheels are in excellent condition while the tires
are in very good order. Out back is a rebuilt and chromed 1.3L flat
four-cylinder engine from a 1971 Volkswagen. It has dual
carburetors and a fully custom and polished exhaust system. The
motor is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Inside, the
black bench seat is new and upholstered in tweed with custom yellow
piping. The black carpet looks great and is mostly protected by
vinyl floor mats. A custom, three-spoke steering wheel greets the
driver. The dash is nicely restored with new gauges and everything
works including the lights, turn indicators and wipers. This buggy
even has a Kenwood AM/FM stereo with CD player nestled in the
floorpan under the bench seat on the passenger side. Documentation
includes ?The Dune Buggy Handbook? and a copy is included with the
vehicle. This is an amazing toy to add to your collection and to
use around your home or cruising around in a tropical town. Stop by
