Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford Bronco loves to be a looker while always keeping up
a rugged appearance. So the lifted stance, beefy additions, robust
interior, and fuel-injected V8 are all there to deliver a classic
4x4 that lives up to its go-anywhere appearance.
To understand what this Bronco is all about, all you have to do is
look up front. Crystal clear headlights light the way forward
better while also giving this one some upgraded style. They are
protected by an upgraded welded steel bumper that even has a mount
for a winch. This has a hammered finish that strikes the right
balance of both attractive and robust enough for action. That same
feeling and texture goes for the shiny gray paint over the whole
body. Along the sides are large fender flares, beefy tires, and
plenty of suspension travel in-between them. The rear has more of
the hammered texture on the strong bumper with trailer hitch. This
also has an upgraded rack to carry handy items like fuel, and
there's a full-size spare that really shows off the style of the
polished Mickey Thompson beadlock-style wheels.
This is the kind of vehicle that was meant to be open to the world,
and so the roll cage nicely matches the exterior. In fact, make
sure you take extra time to check out this custom setup. It has the
lateral beams that offer great strength and a place to mount the
off-road seats and harnesses. There are some useful upgrades like a
lockbox center console, cup holders, liner paint on the floor, and
a bikini top when you want to keep the sunshine off your shoulders.
This one was built to be enjoyed the most by the driver, and so
that's why they upgraded the shifters, sports steering wheel, and
gave you a dash dominated by crisp Dolphin gauges.
Under the hood is the largest motor that was offered in these
first-gen Broncos: the mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. Plus, this one has
been upgraded with fuel injection for better power and consistency.
It fires up easily with a nice hint of attitude from the dual
exhaust. You take complete control over it all with the four-speed
manual transmission. Broncos have a tough off-road attitude, and so
the two-speed transfer case, adjustable shocks, BF Goodrich Krawler
T/A KX tires are all finding the way forward even with the trail
ends. Plus, power steering, power brakes, and front discs are great
even if you just feel like rolling through town in this open-top
classic SUV.
This is the iconic Bronco upgraded to deliver even more of that
awesome 4x4 attitude. So if you want something that's truly
vintage, and extra capable, don't miss this fuel-injected Ford.
