This 1970 Ford Mustang is a well-done coupe that combines the ideal
Sportsroof fastback look with bold paint, proper 351 V8 power, and
a terrific vintage style. So dig into all the details on this
powerful-looking pony.
Red is always a standout color that makes you take notice. That's
especially true on this one that was upgraded later in life to make
sure you have a glossy clearcoat presentation. So the light really
loves to show off the unmistakably sporty fastback profile. And
with a good shine on the bumpers and trim, this is a sharp-looking
coupe. Plus, this has some great standout contrasting black details
with the large chin splitter, full-width rear spoiler, and rear
window slats. In fact, we bet you're thinking about adding a black
stripe, too, just to make a Boss tribute. This one really does get
the vintage sporty details right with the twist lock hood, Mag 500
wheels, and even classic Goodyear Polyglas tires. The total package
makes for a classic that's ready to hit the road, and get the right
nods everywhere it arrives.
With all the black accenting on the outside, it's especially nice
to see a well-done black interior. Just like the exterior, the
inside of this coupe keeps a very stock and clean presentation. So
you have a smooth dash, plush carpeting, a taut headliner, and nice
upholstery for the high back bucket seats. It's a well-detailed
look, right down to the working courtesy lights and dual-spoke
steering wheel with pony emblem in the center.
The engine bay shows more of this car's thoughtful style. It's an
extremely clean presentation that keeps the look of stock, right
down to the callouts on the air grabber. But while the engine bay
goes to great lengths to look correct, there are some nice upgrades
hiding within. This 351 cubic-inch V8 is a later and desirable
four-bolt main motor. It inhales deeper with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as
headers feed the dual exhaust. This motor even fires up better
thanks to an MSD ignition. This is a coupe built for enjoying on
the road, and so you have a three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the shining and strong
classic Mustang. It's a nice driver that loves to be a true
classic. Call now!
