This week Canyon State Classics brings to market of very cool car
that you don't see every day. This is a 1948 Pontiac Streamliner
Aero Coupe with the Silver Streak Straight 8! This was Pontiac's
finest automobile sold in 1948 with all the options you could get
including the rare first-year hydra-matic transmission and Deluxe
trim package.This was the final year of Pontiac's Art Deco early
pre-war design and it really is stunning.
This car is an all original Survivor which was just recently Barn
found and received nearly $45,000 in rebuilt Powertrain,
suspension, brakes, sheet metal work in the trunk, complete fuel
system, complete overhaul of electrical system and much more. The
current owner just did a break-in test drive of nearly 2,000 miles
from Florida to New Mexico in his search for land to develop during
his retirement.The car never failed him once!all of the hard
expensive stuff has been done just do paint chrome interior and
you've got a very rare rare rare car!
this car is totally complete with all parts and trim pieces and
even includes a set of rare correct 48 Pontiac fender skirts which
can be painted during restoration. the car has a certain cool the
way it is and can be enjoyed every day with a fresh interior and
patina and outside. Or take it to the next level and do a full
restoration. The choice is yours!
