Vehicle Description
The Jeep CJ-10 is for sure the rarest of the Jeep setups over the
past few decades. These were manufactured in Indiana and Mexico. It
was a short lived production and from what we can decipher less
than 600 were produced in the final year of 1985. These Jeeps
represent a unique setup that was offered and widely sold out of
the USA and majority of them ending up in Australia as they were
attractive to the military and were easily converted over to RH
drive setup.
We are thrilled to bring to market for the first time in the USA
this very sharp looking 1985 Jeep CJ-10 that retains the LH drive
setup. This Jeep came to us from very good client out of Costa Rica
where it was fully restored and professionally imported into the
USA and holds a clean Michigan title. The vehicle was stripped down
and all panels removed to restore the vehicle properly and apply a
professional grade paint job to the cab and bed. This Jeep CJ-10
was kept fairly stock with some nice upgrades and comes with a host
of nice features including; power steering, power brakes, front
disc brakes, aluminum radiator, Specter Air Intake, 4spd manual
transmission, 4.2L Inline 6cyl, and upgraded A/C.
The engine bay is quite impressive along with the fit and finish of
the extras. LED front fog lights nicely mounted on front bumper,
LED rear taillights added along with heavy duty front and rear
bumpers. The vehicle has a 2in lift along with massive 17in Pro
Comp wheels that are fitted to beefy Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ
tires. The large side steps allow for easy entry into the cab. The
rear bed of truck was all rhino lined and in great shape along with
new exhaust system and muffler. Inside the truck was treated to a
brand new interior with diamond stitch front leather seats with
matching headliner and door panels. New rubber floor system was
custom cut for the truck that give this truck a rugged look but
also a clean and professional feel.
During our test drive the engine and transmission performed to
specs and hustled up to cruising speed without any issues or
hesitations. All forward gears and reverse engaged properly and the
lights, horn, turn signals, speedo, and wipers performed as
expected. Vehicle shows just over 74K Kilometers and believed to be
accurate and true to the vehicle from new. Less than 1K kilometers
have been logged since the restoration. This is a VERY RARE vehicle
and very few exist in the USA let alone in this condition. Be
unique and stand out from the other Jeep's on the road and show up
at your local Jamboree in style and take home the trophy!
