The 2005 Mustang GT was all new like the rest of the Mustang range. The Mustang GT came in two options packages: the Deluxe and the Premium. Muscular new engines gave the Mustang stronger performance. The 4.6-liter all-aluminum V-8 had three-valve heads and was good for 300 horsepower. It had an aluminum block so weight was down 75 pounds versus the prior cast-iron design. Add 40 more horsepower than the 2004 engine and take away that kind of weight and you saw a big improvement in overall performance and not just in a straight line. 0 to 60 mph for the 2005 GT is over in 5.1 seconds and the quarter mile took 13.7 seconds at 103 mph. This car is in great shape both mechanically and cosmetically, the car runs, stops, and drives as it should with no issues. This is a GT with the Premium package which includes. ABS with traction control, stainless steel dual exhaust, front fog lamps in grille, complex reflector halogen headlamps with integral turn signals, rear spoiler, performance tires with 17-inch painted cast aluminum wheels, AM/FM stereo with single CD, Shaker 500 Audio system with six-disc CD player and Aberdeen leather-trimmed embossed sport bucket seats. This car is incredibly fun to drive while still getting great gas mileage. No rust anywhere on the car, regular maintenance and services always done, has almost new tires. Does have a aftermarket fiberglass hood, lowering springs, performance exhaust and aftermarket rims and tires.
