For Sale: 1961 Pontiac Bonneville in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: 389 Tri-Power V8, air conditioning, and original color combination! Well-restored, classic cruiser ready to hit the streets!

BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, showing that this car has been cared for since the restoration took place. The styling on this car speaks for itself, and this is a great example of just how substantial two-door cars once were! Though this is an older restoration and some very minor imperfections may be found, overall the condition is impressive.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The body is finished in the correct color of Fernando Beige; a color that looks stunning on this '60s GM. While it is showing some age here and there, this is a perfectly presentable classic ready for your weekend cruises or local car shows!

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior! Though all of the interior colors are a version of brown, they work well with the exterior color and the interior is oddly charming. The interior has held up excellently since this car was restored, and you could almost believe it was installed yesterday!

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is a correct Pontiac 389 V8 with a tri-power carburetor setup. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. As large and unassuming as this Pontiac is, make no mistake: this is a quick little cruiser. One big alteration from original has been done, and understandably so: this Pontiac is fitted with an aftermarket modern air conditioning system to ensure cool air on a hot day!

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: There's something special about an early 1960s classic muscle car that isn't like every other Camaro or Mustang that you'll see at car shows. This particular example, hasn't been overdone and customized; a reminder of the cars that were there but didn't quite make the highlight reel.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The paint shows very well, but it is an older paint job that has a few daily use type of flaws in the paint.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is ready to go!

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? If hot rods and muscle cars aren't your thing, but you want to be able to keep up if need be, this 1961 Pontiac Bonneville would be an excellent selection. Whether its car shows, weekend cruising, or simply the occasional drive to the store, this Bonneville fits the bill.
