1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible finished in Red paint. Not
originally a red car, this car has been repainted along the line to
the red you see today. Paint has some blemishes where the
convertible top would make contact with the paint, see pics;
otherwise been touched up where necessary. Chrome and brightwork
does have some imperfections here and there but overall looks
good.This is powered by the 352 V8 under the hood that is paired
with a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission; transmission
being recently rebuilt and reinstalled. Nicely equipped with power
steering and power brakes. Riding on wire wheel covers with white
wall radials. Black and white vinyl bucket seat interior, original
combo to this car, with center console and automatic on the column.
Drivers seat has some tears in the vinyl, otherwise the other seats
are in good shape. Aftermarket gauge cluster has been installed
under the dash and aftermarket radio under the stock radio, radio
does not work. Our technicians noted that the oil pressure, amp
gauge, clock, and temp gauge are functioning; radio and fuel gauge
are inop. Black vinyl convertible top is power and does go up and
down, folds into the trunk for a clean look with the switch in the
trunk itself. Top is in good shape! Stock sounding Ford
Thunderbird!
