This Corvette was produced in April of 1966. While early history is unknown, the Corvette was purchased in the early 1990s by long-time friend of Autosport Designs and TV Personality, Joseph Limongelli (GT Joey). Confirming the Corvette to be all original and matching numbers, Mr. Limongelli started a no expense spared restoration. After his long-term ownership and extensive maintenance, Mr. Limongelli sold the Corvette to his cousin who has enjoyed enthusiast ownership since.
This restored Stingray Corvette is clean with excellent body fitment and no signs of any damage or major repairs. With 93,000 original miles, this corvette was restored at 60,000 original miles. The engine was built by Nicky Downs, absolutely all parts are date coded. Having accumulated 30,000 miles since restoration, this Corvette has remained in excellent mechanical condition and always been serviced and cared for when and where needed regardless of use.
Superb and is ready for immediate use and enjoyment. It is complete with its books, large history file, workshop manual, jack, original GM highway kit, and spare parts.
