This striking Aston Martin is one of just 47 built to this
specification, and is one of the earliest Mk IIIs delivered to the
United States. Originally sold to Air Force Captain Jerome J.
Sauber, and equipped from new with dual exhaust, Rumbolt safety
belts, Smiths oil temperature gauge, and front disc brakes -
suggesting Capt. Sauber intended to enjoy his new Aston in
competition. Well-documented ownership history, and now fully
restored in a handsome livery of British Racing Green with green
hides and Wilton carpets. Proven on events like the Colorado Grand,
and usefully updated for fast road/rallying with Weber carbs, alloy
radiator, 5-speed gearbox, and more. Includes a copy of the
original build order and British Motor Industry Heritage Trust
