This is a real Super Bee, factory B5 blue car. Rock solid with
clean original floors. Overall a good looking, great driving
car.
EXTERIOR: It has a look! The colors and stance are great. The body
is exceptionally nice. I am very impressed with the body gaps
especially the hood, it fits precisely. Absolutely straight down
both sides, I felt all along the bottoms- no bubbles. Repainted
it's original B5 blue. The metal flake is laid out evenly and it
has a deep clear coat finish that's polished very smooth and
glossy. The white Super Bee C stripe really adds some pop. Front
and rear bumpers have been rechromed. Door handles were replaced.
The stainless trim around the windows is very good. New windshield.
The door jambs were repainted and are glossy, weatherstrips were
replaced. It has original vin # sticker in the jamb. The 15 inch
Cragars sparkle like new, wider in back with fatter tires for that
tough stance.
INTERIOR: Beautiful matching blue interior. It does not look
abused, the dash area is very clean and tidy. It does he have an
upgraded stereo. The door panels are clean and straight, the metal
is repainted. The seats have been reupholstered. It has Super Bee
floor mats and new blue seat belts front and back. The headliner is
tight as a drum, in excellent shape.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 383 Magnum motor that runs
smooth as can be. It has an Edelbrock intake with a dual feed
Holley carb, stock dual snorkel air cleaner with new 383 Magnum pie
tin. The alternator is new, it has a disconnect on the battery. The
engine bay is clean, straight metal painted blue. The fender tag is
still attached, the vin stamped on the core support matches the
car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a new trunk floor trunk installed very
nicely. The compartment and under the trunk lid are painted blue.
It has a new mat and weatherstrip. It is complete with jack and
spare assembly. The vin # under the weatherstrip matches the
car.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car appears to be rock solid metal. It is
virgin, never even spray painted over. What you see is original.
The floor pans, inner rockers and inner lower quarters are original
and clean. I don't see any rotten metal, no patchwork. Looks like
it has four new shocks, air shocks in back. Looking up at the motor
it's clean, has a new starter. The casting code confirms it is a
correct 383 motor. The 727 Torqueflite automatic is VIN number
matched to this car. The original rear end still has assembly line
markings painted on it. The fuel tank was replaced.
We sell Road Runners and Super Bees for a whole lot more money than
this one but don't think it's not a great car. It's actually very
clean throughout, functions great and its sharp!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
