Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Don Yenko was a Chevrolet dealer
and part-time racer based in Canonsburg, PA from 1957 until 1982. A
serious performance enthusiast, Yenko began modifying Corvairs and
Camaros and quickly earned an excellent reputation as a reputable
speed merchant. By 1969 his close relationship with GM and Chevy's
Vince Piggins allowed him to order 201 427-powered Camaros through
the COPO (Central Office Production Order) program, rather than
installing the engines himself. These rare beasts often change
hands these days for more than $150K, making even a short drive a
nerve-racking experience. Which brings us to this sharp Grabber
Orange (72) 1969 Yenko Camaro tribute. Lift the hood and you'll
find a nicely detailed 454 ci version of Chevy's vaunted big block
sporting an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 aluminum intake manifold and a
Holley carburetor. Additional features include power steering,
power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, a Muncie 4-speed manual
transmission with Hurst shifter, 12-bolt rear end, subframe
connectors, traction bars, cowl hood, American Racing Torq Thrust
wheels, tilt steering column, auxiliary gauges, and an AM/FM
stereo. This car is a blast to drive, with performance that rivals
an original and comfort that far exceeds it. Please note the
excellent condition of the chassis and floor pans on this
adult-driven classic. Another big block badass from the Texas Hill
Country's premier source for classic muscle. Street Dreams
(830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with
worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
