Vehicle Description
If you're going to wear big wheels, you need a big attitude...
that's why this 1966 Cadillac DeVille convertible has everything
from a fully adjustable air ride suspension to devilish LED halo
headlights. But what you're going to love the best is that this
full cruiser package now moves under modern LS3 V8 power.
This one strikes that perfect balance that has the features of a
restomod without losing any vintage appeal. You can see it the
moment you look at the red paint. This was a great color for these
long Caddy drop-tops back in the day, but there's a metallic here
that signals a true upgrade. And so you'll really love it when the
sunlight finds this sunshine-friendly convertible. The wide and
angular front end is already practically an icon, but this one
really takes it up a notch with an upgraded shine to the grille and
bumpers, as well as a cool red glow from the LED halo headlights.
While they kept the famous Cadillac logo leading the way, they
deleted most of the badging and trim on the sides to give this
convertible an even sleeker profile. It gives this one a terrific
cruiser attitude. That's only heightened by the large 20-inch Foose
wheels with Vogue tires. And to make sure the stance is ideal, you
can fully adjust the air ride suspension.
We have thousands $$$$ document investments in this car over the
last few years including a new convertible top. And if you like the
way the clean black presentation looks against the red paint, then
you'll love to power it down to reveal the full black interior. The
leather upholstery has a stock style by a fresher feel from a
proper investment. The dash is smooth, the carpeting is nice, and
the trunk even makes sure the setup for the air ride system is
ready to be shown off. There's plenty of room for family and
friends, and this one has been upgraded to keep everyone happy.
That's why you have deeply tinted windows, factory power windows, a
cup holder center console, and a Bluetooth connection for the full
subwoofer stereo system. There are even provisions for R134a air
conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) But the
driver is always going to be king of this cruiser. You have a fold
down center armrest, power front seat, a tilt/telescopic steering
column, and power steering. And your gauges are now a full digital
readout panel to signal that the best upgrade of them all is in the
engine bay
Under the hood is a GM legend, and it's a much younger one than
this Caddy's original V8. You're looking at a 6.2-liter LS3 V8,
which has a history in some very modern and potent Camaros and
Corvettes. This upgrade was done only a few years ago as part of
over $24k invested in the powertrain alone! You'll also sport nice
upgrades like the 92mm throttle body, dual batteries, and an
aluminum radiator w/electric fans. A car like this was meant to be
one you can show odd, and so they made sure it was a good driver,
too. That's why you have upgrades like a four-speed automatic
transmission w/overdrive and four-wheel power disc brakes w/drilled
& slotted rotors.
Complete with build receipts and maintenance records, this is the
kind of full custom build that would take years to get right. So
this one lets you skip the work and get right to the fun. Call
