A value price for a numbers-matching 1974 Chevrolet Corvette is
always going to be quite attractive. But as you dig deeper, you'll
see the real desire is centered on how this original block has been
given all the right upgrades for power, and you get full control
with the four-speed.
The 1974 C3 is a unique machine. It debuted the full urethane
bumper treatment, and it was the only time for the split rear. And
a car like this is always going to look distinct in Classic White,
and this one shows the right signs of being the original
application. It's not perfect, but on a car that has averaged about
1,300 miles annually, it remains quite complete. So it's nice to
have the option of keeping it factory, or using the value price to
leave room in your budget to give it your own personal touches. And
you just know the growl this coupe gives is what will really have
you hooked from day one (more on that in a moment.)
The factory correct black color interior looks outstanding against
the exterior white, and so you know you'll love driving with the
T-tops out. This has a great premium feel with a nice touch of
wood-like trim. Plus you have comfortable features like power
windows and an upgraded Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo. This was even a
factory air conditioning car (you will need components and
servicing to return the function.) And at the heart is a true
driver's machine. You have some nice newer investment, like the
sports steering wheel and newer leather covers for the high-back
bucket seats. There's also a tilt/telescopic steering column to
give you a clear view to the large speedo and tach. Plus, nothing
beats the action of a Hurst shifter.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching L82 350 cubic-inch motor.
This was the higher performance small block when new, but today we
know there's plenty more power to get out of these V8s. That's why
this one has been given all the right investments. This includes
the added performance from the Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock high rise aluminum intake, and
long tube Hooker headers that feed the rumbling dual exhaust. And
it has the right supporting components, like an MSD ignition, MSD
distributor, steel braided lines w/AN fittings, dual belts, and an
aluminum radiator w/electric fan. You'll love the lope of the cam
that gives this a great performance sound, and you're in complete
control of the power and thunder thanks to the four-speed manual
transmission. The undercarriage looks like there have been solid
investments in the fully independent suspension. And with power
steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, this Stingray can
confidently take on your favorite back road.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, service manuals, and
maintenance records. There are also three crates of original parts
if you so desire. So this is a distinctive classic that offers
irresistible power and an irresistible price. Call today!!!
