There is a wow factor in this 1929 Ford Model A Rumble seat coupe
that we will try to adequately describe in only one page. It's a
steel bodied coupe that has upgrades like a strong V8 and a
leather-lined A/C interior. And of course, there's just something
irresistible to family and friends who will want to hop into the
rumble seat and go for a ride.
There's a lot to love about this custom build. It has the classic
Model A look with a steel body, windshield visor, steps plates,
steel running boards, and classic grille complete with stone
shield. But this classic is also unmistakably a street machine,
too. You have the sporty stance, integrated taillights, chrome dual
exhaust tips, and 15-inch Budnik wheels. You can even remove the
hood panels to show off the powerhouse whenever you want. These two
personalities live in a nice harmony thanks to a classic cream
color that also has the right touch of sleekness.
The interior goes for a full custom style that really maximizes the
comfort. It starts with the supple leather seats. They have a nice
cream color to coordinate with the exterior, and the individual
backs have plenty of bolstering to be all-day comfortable. Upgrades
are thoughtfully installed, like the AM/FM/CD stereo in the
overhead console, and the cold-blowing air conditioning coming from
the integrated dash vents. And the driving experience is upgraded,
too. The Budnik steering wheel has a similar style to the exterior
alloys. It's mounted on a tilt column to give you a good view to
the dash full of VDO gauges. Of course, a big attention-getter is
the rumble seat in the back. More than just an iconic open-air
experience, this was installed with care to include step plates on
the body and a similar upholstery to the rest of the coupe.
The engine bay is ready to show off with plenty of shining metal,
including the valve covers, air grabber, alternator, compressor,
and upgraded pulleys. At the heart is a 350 cubic-inch V8 built
with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and
Sanderson Street Rod headers. It's supported by a Walker radiator,
Mallory unilite distributor, MSD plug wires, and steel braided
lines. This is a healthy powerhouse, and it connects to a TH350
three-speed automatic transmission on its way to a stout Ford
9-inch rear. The suspension is a proper street machine setup with
four-link arrangement and adjustable coilovers for both the front
and rear. There're meaty rear tires to keep the power to the
pavement, and the power brakes w/front discs give you proper
stopping power.
This is a rumble seat coupe that has both power and poise. Everyone
can't help but respect a build like this, and if you're quick
enough, the admiration can all be yours. Call today!!!
