For Sale: 2017 Ford Mustang in Ft Worth, Texas

Vehicle Description

Ford's Mustang has been a slam-dunk for the company for more than 50 years, and one of the best things about cars like this 6th generation 2017 Ford Mustang GT is that they still represent a huge amount of style and performance for not a lot of cash. Compared to a brand-new Mustang, this former barely driven, SEMA featured 2017 Ford Mustang GT represents a huge savings, and with a kickin' 5.0L Coyote packing 435 horsepower, it's every bit as fast. Pretty cool, right?

Wearing a jet-hot coat of Ruby Red Metallic paint, this is a grownup's Mustang with a teenager's heart. It's handsome, aggressive, yet somehow aggressively subtle (an oxymoron I know, but it just feels like a proper explanation for this slick ride), and thanks to fanatical ownership that always treated this as a dream car, it's in wonderful condition throughout. Of course, the aggressive look is bolstered by the insanely cool kit that was installed on the body, including the ground effects, custom front and rear valance, and that uber-sporty spoiler out back. You also get that killer GT hood with dual scoops and black accents, the heat vents on the profile of the body, and old-school style louvers on the rear and back windows all giving it the ideal blend of form following function. The highest praise we can offer a car like this is that it's practically like new, and that pretty much covers why this Mustang was featured at SEMA in 2017. You can tell that someone has always loved it because the finish is deep and lustrous, the product of a lot of hand waxing over the past few years, and obviously it has never been hit or damaged. There's also a blacked-out tail-panel like the GTs of old, so the car looks timeless. The redesigned front end of this generation was heavily influenced by Ford's Evo concept car, with the blacked-out front and fog lights that recall the factory GTs of the '60s and yes, the famous vertical bar taillights are sequential, just like the Shelbys. It's like the greatest hits of the Ford Mustang, all wrapped up in a single fastback.

The special-order Katskin upgrade interior looks fantastic inside the hot-red bodywork, offering Saddle leather with Black suede insert seats that are in great shape, with intricate stitching throughout all the soft upholstery in the cabin. With a matching rear bucket-bench setup and ornate door panels, the car is obviously packed with luxury, feeling more like an exotic than a top-of-the-line domestic sports car. This Mustang GT is loaded with just about every option you could get, from power seats, windows, locks, and mirrors, to a powerful HVAC system, cruise control, and a 6-speed manual transmission inside the center console. Light gray carbon fiber accents on the black leather dash look stunning, the high-tech steering wheel is leather-trimmed and ready to be white-knuckled, while the short-throw shifter and hand-brake practically taunt you into having some fun in an empty parking lot. The chrome-rimmed gauges resemble those found in a '67 Mustang, complete with the tall, narrow font on the gauge faces, and all of the secondary controls are within easy reach. The big aftermarket touch-screen entertainment system with navigation and a back-up camera is easy to use and remarkably effective, and it fits neatly right above the touchscreen that controls the HVAC system. The sound system is impressive, with loads of speakers in the cabin and a custom box in the trunk filled with JL Audio subwoofers that love to go BOOM.

The return of the 5.0 was big news, although this is no '60s relic under the hood. No, the Coyote V8 is a thoroughly modern, fuel-injected DOHC V8 that cranks out 435 horsepower in the Mustang and makes the most wonderful exhaust sounds this side of Maranello. The engine bay is dominated by the wide intake and valve covers, and the rest of the presentation is just as it looked leaving the factory floor. Stock and unmodified, which is exactly what you want to see in a second-hand Mustang with such low mileage. It's also just as spotless under the hood as it is outside, more evidence of a finicky previous owner. Whatever little maintenance it ever needed was properly done at the dealership, so the car runs, drives, and feels virtually new. The 6-speed manual transmission shifts imperceptibly if you're going easy, but stomp on the loud pedal and it snaps to attention and cracks off rifle shot upshifts that bark the tires. That Coyote motor is STRONG! Thanks to a Magnaflow cat-back dual exhaust system, you can hear that wondrous exhaust note in full-bore stereo and with a standard fully-independent suspension and factory 4-wheel disc brakes there are no worries about keeping it in check. Upgraded 20-inch Azad black alloys finish off the killer package and they carry staggered 255/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear performance radials with plenty of tread left.

Low miles, a killer look with just the right custom touches, and all the horsepower one could ask for. All for a fraction of the price of a new Mustang. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Call today!
