FORD THUNDERBIRD This time capsule of a barn find is a 1976 Ford
Thunderbird that was NEVER dealer prepped, NEVER titled, and NEVER
delivered on the factory MSO. Left inside of a closed Ford dealer
out of Memphis Tennessee, this Thunderbird was left sitting to only
be discovered in late 2020. The nearly perfect Ivory leather
interior still holds that new car smell and look with plastics
still covering the seatbelt buckles. Popping the trunk revealed a
44 year old spare tire, still holding air, a NEVER installed
antenna, and tag ring still in the wrapper. Opening the the drivers
door you can't help but notice the original window sticker, perfect
blue shag carpet, and only factory driven 15 miles. The R12 AC
blows ice cold. Turn the key and the factory 460 V8 power plant
comes alive with working lights and radio all the way around. This
car will just make you say "WOW". This running and driving time
capsule is the last era of the Big Birds and a true testament of
the quality and excellence offered through Ford during the 1970's.
