World War II was barely a memory when this 1946 Ford pickup came
off the line. In fact, it represents the first full model year for
civilian production. And not only was this truck restored to look

tap into an all-American kind of optimism that this pickup

look both sharp and period-correct. It was a three-year labor of

are terrific details, like the two-piece wheel trim, step plates,
and new window glass. And the rear fenders are now fiberglass to
really get the swoopy look right and also fit the side-mounted
