1984 Lincoln Town Car, 302 H.O. Swap.
Exterior: This is a 99% rust-free car, never driven in winter. Floor pans, frame, brake, and fuel lines are all in excellent shape. The vinyl top is in excellent shape. The paint has some chips on the hood and sides, overall the paint looks very good for the age. Chrome is all in excellent shape, with no cracks in any glass panels.
Interior: Dark gray velour interior, all seats are in excellent shape, carpets, dash, and door panels are all in excellent shape. The headliner is sagging and held up with twist-upholstery pins. Everything in the interior works as it should, it has an Alpine USB stereo, all speakers and speaker wiring have been replaced.
Engine: Reman. 302 H.O. (Bluprint Engines, listed as a direct replacement for '93 Mustang), Holley Street Demon 625cfm Carb, Pertronix HEI style distributor (w/separate ign coil), dual exhaust, H-pipe with chambered mufflers. There are about 5k miles on this engine since being installed in 2019. Sounds absolutely fantastic.
Transmission: Original AOD with TCI constant pressure valve body (there is a lokar shift cable kit from trans to carb for shift point adjustment). The radiator (replaced a couple years ago) has a transmission cooler and there is also an add-on transmission cooler.
Other Mechanical Notes: All shocks have been replaced (Coilover in rear), rear springs have been replaced. All brakes have been replaced (including new wheel cylinders in the rear, reman calipers in front and reman master cylinder), American Racing Outlaw II wheels, and Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires (installed a couple of years ago but very few miles on them). Rear-axle and power steering pump have been flushed and have fresh fluid. The automatic climate control temp valve has been replaced. The radiator has been replaced.
Problems: The analog clock on the gauge cluster does not work, The driver side rear ashtray opening lever is missing, there is an approx 1" sq next to rear pass side rocker panel marker light that is a gray primer, there are some rock/door ding chips in the paint on sides and hood, there was a crack on the outer edge of the bell- housing on the transmission that has been repaired (TIG welded), the headliner is sagging and held up with twist upholstery pins. This car does not have A/C.
Overall this car is in exceptional shape for the age, it has been garage kept and well cared for. It gets a lot of compliments and attention when it is out. The exhaust note is fantastic (not loud, no drone, just the right volume). It drives great, extremely comfortable. The underbody is exceptionally clean.
