This 1955 Ford F100 truck was fully restored down to the frame and is in excellent condition, with <13,000 miles since the rebuild. The truck boasts a Chevrolet drive train with a 350 small block engine, 350 turbo automatic transmission, and a 273-gear ratio Chevrolet rear end. Whether you want to smoke the tires off the starting line or show off top-end speed, this truck is sure to please.
The 350 small block engine was built by LJ’s Speed and Machine Shop in Napa, California. It has an Edelbrock manifold and carburetor, with an aggressive cam calibrated 350 horsepower. With dual exhaust Stage 2 Flowmasters, this truck sounds and performs like a genuine hot rod. The transmission is a three-speed automatic with overdrive, controlled by a Billet Push Button Shifter.
The front end has been upgraded with a Mustang 2 clip and rack & pinion steering. The body and component parts are all original steel. The bed is lined with American oak and chrome inlays. The taillights bear the Ford insignia.
Inside the cabin, the truck has a custom chrome steering wheel and a Billet aluminum instrument panel with white Classic Instrument gauges. The sound system is powered by a Sony MP3 CD player (with iPhone-ready auxiliary plug-in), two 6.5” Infinity speakers in the kick panels, and dual 10” sub-woofers with an amplifier housed in a custom box behind the seat.
This truck has been cared for. It is extremely reliable. The owner has many pictures from the rebuild as well as spare and original parts (decals, etc.) to pass along.
