Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1983 Land Rover Defender 110, an exquisitely-restored example built by The Landrovers in Amsterdam. Finished in Designo Satin Green with a black canvas soft top, this 110 was dubbed "The Beachrunner 007" when it was finished and delivered in 2018. With only one U.S. owner since (and only 2,500 miles on the build), this D110 still presents as new inside and out.

The Landrovers is easily among the best-regarded (and most expensive) Land Rover specialists in Europe, which really shows in the overall fit and finish and attention to detail both inside and out. Better-than-factory paint quality, KBX grille, NAS brush guard, 18-inch Kahn wheels wearing BF Goodrich all terrains, LED lighting - in other words, only the most tasteful upgrades and appointments. In addition to the black canvas full soft top, a tan canvas bikini top is also included.

Interior presents beautifully with three rows of forward-facing seats (the rear seats fold up to the side for added cargo space as necessary). Custom leather upholstery has subtle green stitching that matches the exterior color. Additional creature comforts include a modern stereo with bluetooth, USB and aux input plus ice-cold air conditioning (heating and ventilation controls also work as new, of course). An Evander wood steering wheel from Exmoor Trim is fitted.

The Landrovers delivered this truck with its original carbureted 3.5 liter Rover V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. But its owner wanted a little extra power and better around-town drivability so he upgraded to a fuel-injected 4.0 liter Rover V8 mated to a ZF 4HP22 automatic transmission (at a cost of nearly $30k for a new crate engine, plus fuel injection and transmission swap). This is a fully turn-key example by one of the best known shops that checks all of the right boxes - fuel injected gasoline V8, automatic, A/C, soft top - available immediately and for less than the cost to have one built to your specification.
