Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. General Motors, via their
Chevrolet division's Corvette, has been showcasing their styling
and engineering prowess for a hard-to-believe 68 years. And while
every generation of Corvette has its devotees, the C2's (1963-1967)
continue to haunt the dreams of red-blooded enthusiasts everywhere.
And what's not to love? Bill Mitchell's design team, headed by
Larry Shinoda, penned a futuristic yet timeless classic that, in
the fall of 1962, looked as if it had just arrived from another
planet! This, combined with outstanding engineering, helps to
explain the enduring popularity of these cars. Our Silver Blue 1963
Corvette Convertible beautifully illustrates the razor-sharp lines
of this styling tour de force. From the bumpers, to the fenders, to
the leading and trailing edges, the crisp and purposeful design
seems to suggest speed. The ubiquitous small block V8 is not
original, but is tuned for relaxed cruising and looks fantastic
with the Winters aluminum intake manifold, HP air cleaner, and
7-fin valve covers from a later Corvette. Additional features
include a fully independent suspension, automatic transmission,
power steering, power brakes, power windows, aluminum knock-off
wheels, new carpet, and a new dark blue Haartz cloth convertible
top. This sweetheart runs and drives beautifully, and few cars
attract as much attention as an early Sting Ray. Springtime is
here! Ray-Bans and sunscreen not included. Street Dreams
(830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with
worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
