I bought this 1962 Corvette from a friend on October 6,1999. Once I purchased it I wanted to restore it, making sure every part was original for this year. I took it to a frame shop and had it checked. It was certified that it was in good shape. Next, mechanics went through the rear end, wheels and brakes. The brake shoes in the rear were replaced and Disc brakes were put on the front. I pulled the engine and sent it to a speed shop were the engine was rebuilt and balanced. I found out the transmission was not original so I located a 1962 T-10 Borg Warner 4-speed and had it installed. The radiator was replaced and Air Conditioning was added. The car was stripped down to the fiberglass and lacquer paint was applied. Finally, the interior was redone including the door panels. If you need any more pictures in particular, please ask. Since I restored the car, the odometer reads 1,480.
