The 1964 Chevrolet Impala carried forward the model's "eyeful of
style and fleet appearance". The '64 Impala maintained much of the
'63's roofline and body appearance but added a softer, more rounded
look with updates to headlights and taillights. The Impala was
offered in several body styles with several engine options,
including the powerful 409, which had become a legend in its own
right. The 409 was Chevrolet's "8-cylinder package of dynamite"
This 1964 Impala is the beneficiary of a meticulous frame-off
restoration. The laser straight body is set off by the factory
correct ember red exterior, complimented by the white top and
correct ivory bucket seat interior. The white convertible top was
replaced during the restoration. The 409ci engine and 4-speed
manual transmission were completely rebuilt to factory specs during
the restoration. The car has two Carter AFB carburetors, factory
chrome air cleaner and chrome valve covers. Everything on this
Impala was restored to beyond new condition. The bottom of this
Impala is as clean as the top. This car is truly a collector grade
'64 that would be a fantastic addition to any collection.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
